Well the day has finally come..and it's reallly hard to believe that by 12 o'clock I will be on my first flight on my journey to South Africa.

The past few weeks have been really hard, full of tearful goodbyes and extreme nerves but I am now all packed [although probably over the limit haha] and ready to leave for the airport.

I feel so weird right now..a mixture of nerves, sadness, fear, excitment and just plain tiredness. I can't believe how fast time has caught up with me and I regret not being able to spend more valuable time with everyone before I left, but i'm just glad I got to say my goodbyes.

The goodbyes have all been tough, but it's going to be reallly really tough saying my final goodbyes to my family and my boyfriend, but it has to be done.

I will try and keep everyone up to date on what is happening while I am away but I am still unsure how frequent that may be.
