I like this activity category "Cultural Encounters" !! Not sure how true this is of what Ive done but hey, who cares!!

Well, the weather has been a little s*** of late... But the last 2 and a half days have been sunny so Ive been a proper beach bum ;) Today I was not very impressed, instead of lying on the sand (as Im not a big fan of sand...) I lie on this grassy bit. But I looked down after a couple of hours and I was crawling with what looked like tiny lice!! It was DISGUSTING!! And I was being attacked by ladybirds, was starting to piss me off big time. I was definitely not AT ONE with nature lol. I decided to pack that in and just sat in a cafe for a while reading my book drinking fizzy water (Im so cool), which was a good job as it PISSED it down!! Big storm, there was hail the size of sprouts!! So I sat it out for a few hours, was all good.

Earlier in the week Jo, Eddie and I met up with the Irish guys from neighbours and went for a few drinks in St Kilda which is like the beach area. Was great fun, jugs of bulmers $10 (about £4) you cant go wrong!! Unfortunately no skittles simon... (if you're even reading this!!). The Irish guys all went to neighbours again (mad - its $40!!) but we def went on the better week as there were a load of nobodys this week! Winner... Rolled outta the bar about 12, after taking a few hilarious photos (well, they are after a few drinks, the glasses on the bottles made me laugh so hard I nearly couldnt take the photo - I did say I was child!!). Crept into Jo and Eddies hostel and they shared a bed and gave me Jos to save me trekking home as I had no key!

I am enjoying the on site pool and gym :) Well, Ive not used the gym lol, but the pool is great!! There are two tennis courts too, but havent had a chance to play on them yet as weathers been rubbish at weekend when Laura is off work. Hopefully soon, she will kick my ass no doubt!

Have been to the aquarium, photos are on here now, and also went for a walk round the casino, its MASSIVE! I think I should go and ask to be barred as its potentially VERY dangerous for me lol. I played a few 5c slots (big time) and then left having won nothing, no surprise. Heard stories about crazy japs who just stand and play a machine all night, not even moving to pee.. Gross

Got some good news today, my mum is coming out to visit in January :) She is actually just coming to watch the Australian Tennis open lol, Im merely a by product!! She is now looking at flying into Melb and outta Sydney so I will see a good bit of Sydney and the east coast! Thats about all for now :) Watching Casion Royale now... Lateeeeerz
