hey all,

After speding a couple of days in Welly i eventually made it to Auckland! My car is off to the scrap heap tomorrow, so i got a mega cheap flight to Auckland instead. My lovely friend Jennie picked me up from the airport which was ace, she lives baout 20 mins out of the city and about 15 mins away from the beach, so quite excited about going for a walk there tomorrow. We headed into the centre today and di some retail therapy, spent far too much money but hey it was nice to have a girly day. Tonight we are just chilling and going to watch dvds with a packet of chocie chip cookies, yum. Jen has just got a new job as a teacher, and said she might let me go into her school and do a talk about my cycling, ha ha so that will be fun. I'll get all the kids to run around causing havoc.

So glad to be up in auckland, the past couple of days have been frustrating as my car has been on the verge of dying a few times. Oh well, its all part of the adventure.
