Hazel and Kieran's adventure!
Hola from the first site of Chile!!!
Well we are in a National park and we are in the middle of nowhere but the views from the tent are fantastic every time we open the flap up!
Have been walking too and have seen a glaciar and many other things. It has been raining so we do feel for you guys in England! Nah, we dont!!!
Life is good still, we have been having camp fires every night courtesy of Kieran and lots of good food. Being in the middle of no where makes us feel very intune with nature and all that! Oh, except for the Mices.
Oh yes the mices. The first night we arrived in Torres del paine, I was woken up by Kieran wanted to tell me that there was a mouse in the tent. He then promptly rolled over and started snoring loudly again leaving me cowering in a corner clutching a torch petrified of moving just in case i was eaten. Bless him!!!!!
After that i made friends with a cat who was a very good mice catcher. I had a few come greet me in the toliet but i made sure that Kieran checked the tent vigourously Just in case!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
We did lots of walking and the best bit was that all the water in the park is mineral water, so you can stop by the river or a lake and fill your bottle up. And you have never tasted or seen such water like it! It is the strangest colour of blue but tastes fantastic.
We have also walked to see the famous Torres del Paine, or the towers that stand out agaisnt a huge blue sky and shadow everything in the park. And its all natures doing that created them like that.
And talking of nature, we have also seen the gray glaciar and although we are impressed, it wont be as amazing as seeing the moreno glaciar which is the next stop.
So speak to you all soon,
Wish you were here,
Hazel and Kieran xxxx
