Hi everyone,
so.... we arrived in Bangkok on Saturday morning and feels like we have already been here for so long as seen and done so many things already.
Bangkok is a big culture shock at first, so busy, noisey, hot and polluted (rats in the street which made dan scream like a girl ha ha).
Our hotel which we booked from home was really nice and about a 15minute walk for Koh san road do not to near the hustle and bustle of there. Had really nice and cheap food there, about 40 baht for a noddle soup dish and was realy nice. Also had one of those fish pedicures done (again Dan screamed like a girl- a theme lol)so he only had his feet in for a couple. felt so weird and but once you get used to the tickling it actually feels nice.
We went out saturday till about 1am (had a ping pong experience ... long story, we didnt go in in the end... sorry Nick!) got chatting to some people and had to be up at 4am for our flght to Samui so felt exhausted yesterday. We found a really cheap little room right near the beach so chilled all day. Then went to a really posh and nice (and expensive) resturant last night for valentines. in the words of Sarah it was the NICEST MEAL EVER!
Going over to Koh Pha-ngan today and will stay there till 20th now with full moon on the 19th. Going to do an elephant ride and meet up with Dans brother Matt.
Will try and write again soon.
Hope you are all ok and coping without me lol
lots of love x
(excuse spelling, writing v quickly!)
