Hej hej!

Had a lovely day in Stockholm. The sun was shining and I got my own private tour!!

On the ferry from Turku I shared a cabin with 2 girls; one from Spain who was studying in Finland and on her way to see her boyfriend in France amd the other a French girl who was also studying in Finland. Yes we all got the whole story from each other...we had about 9 hours to kill. We did sleep a bit!

It turned out the French girl also lived in Stockholm for a year and was going back to meet friends. We went for coffee when we arrived but struggled to find ´many places open as it was about 7am! But we did and then one of her friends, also French, joined us and I spent the day with them. They showed me all around the city and also the good coffee places etc... It was really nice!

At the end of the day I took a train to Uppsala. A University town about 40 mins north of Stockholm. This is where I am now staying with 2 friends I met on my previous travels in Mexico. Thats the great thing about traveling is you always meet other people from other countries so you may have somewhere to stay if you visit their country!!

So now in Uppsala. We're having a small party tonight which should be fun and then back to England tomorrow!! But don't be fooled my friends.....its not for long. Decided that the rest of Scandinavia I'd like to do in the summer as there are some amazing fjords to hike in Norway as I'm sure some of you know so the change of plan is to return to England and then off to Thailand on wed!!!

So away from the cold.....see you in the warm!!
