Hi my intrepid hikers, sounds like a fantastic ( if rugged) few days out there. Great novella/blog enjoyed reading it very much. We have just reutrned from our night/day in the city - our 'stay'-cation. which was great. I won $150 on the pokies last night which paid for the days wonderings through the Vic Market and around town. Love you both - enjoy the hippies ( it will fell like home!)

Hi Hayley and Ryan just back from a whirlwind tour of Tassie with Neville and Nana and Gramps. We had a great time but nowhere as exciting as your adventures I'm sure. Looking forward to hearing about your travels when you return,
Tony
Hi you two.Guess the backs are hurting a little and there's the odd blister here and there now that you've left the soft city life behind and are getting into the outback(don't suppose thats what they call it)
A bit of futbal news from here. The 'Mighty Pies'just won their first match after being robbed by the white maggots last week:)Carlton have won two in a row and are flying(Gee! it hurts to say that Hayley)
Look forward to hearing from you soon

Goodness! I turn on mum's computer this morning, and who is on the desktop? Hayley, in the mountains, accompanied by some kind of furry bear!
What happened to Ryan? Did... did the bear eat him?
Haha. =)
The Glacier Martial hike sounds sooo so beautiful, although I don't envy the actual hiking part! =)
Lovely blog, glad you're finally getting into the exciting part of the trip!
Love,
Pipp.

Hey! So, apparently you guys are, like, hardcore mountaineers now. that glacier looks intense! Love the videos, by the way.
Love, Jono

Hi from Melbourne, where it is sunny and a warm 25 today. What great pictures and video of the wilds of your walks. I trust that you were kept warm by gloves, coats and layers of clothes. have you bought beanies?
I saw other walkers in the video, so you were not the only people on the trail. That is good.
I'm envious of the great places and wildlife you have seen.
Stay safe ( and warm)
Love from David

Hello my travellers, sounds like a very full month - don't forget to take the time to smell the llama poo (will there be llamas or am I mixing up my countries?) Love you lots happy travels
Lorraine
Hi guys thinking of your next adventure it sounds very exiting I know when we spoke on Wednesday you indicated it would be good to leave the city life behind for a while. Hope those back packs are not too heavy. You have fitted so much into your trip already and there is so much more to do and see.Keep well safe and happy.
All our love...Mum and Dad Lorraine and Tony.XXXXXXXX

Hello Halyely and Ryan, what fun you had at the kids birthday party, sounds like a good experience to have and a contrast to the new and affluent parts of BA.
I also like the Peace bears and the photos. The aussie bear is Ken Done designed, maybe we should have chosen someone else.
And our Yarra is not the colour of the river in your photo.
Thanks again for excellent description of BA, we can feel the atmosphere.
