Hi Sunday morning we checked out of the Grampians YHA then set off for the wonderland carpark to do the Pinnacles walk. A 5.5km walk that took us up 280m! The views from the top were worth the climb. The area suffered from the 2006 Grampian forest fires that destroyed 47% of the vegetation in the Grampians so you could see all the volcanic rock underneath. The tree trunks were all still black but you could see all the regrowth. The ground was still ash though. ...

Hi Went to see the sunset over the Twelve Apostles on Thursday night. It was bloody freezing but worth it because after the sun went down we saw lots of Little Penguins come to shore to rest for the night. Set off early on Friday in the pouring rain. Hi everyone We set off early from Lorne this morning and stopped for a few pictures between there and Apollo Bay. Hi everyone, Wednesday - Great Ocean Road Day! Went to pick up the car at 9.00am from central Melbourne, we were given a maroon Toyota Corolla, who we called Alastair! Lyd successfully drove us out of Melbourne and down to Geelong with the clouds following us all the way.
