We've now left Glenwood Springs and i was very sad to leave. It is such a beautiful place and i had loads of fun there. It was a great place to spend my birthday. The girls bought me a huge donut cake and put 23 candles on, as well as a birthday balloon so it was a birthday ill definatly remember. We landed in Salt Lake City at around 9pm last night. We had booked a campsite so we made our way straight there and entertained the whole campsite by attempting to put our tents up in the dark. We stand out a mile that were british and blonde!! After a pretty rough night (the campsite was right next to a railway line, and every driver in America is very horn happy!) we packed up our tents (in daylight this time!) and headed to the bus station. Were headed for the Grand Canyon but the greyhounds don't stop at grand canyon. The closest they go is Flagstaff which is about an hour away from the Canyon, then we will use the public buses to get to the Canyon itself. Im really exited to see it, aparantly theres a glass platform you can alk across and take pictures of down into the canyon! We have altered our plans in America slightly. We have travelled across America alot quicker than initially thought and its also very expensive so we have changed our flight out of LA and brought it forward by three weeks. That means we'll be spending just over 3 weeks in America in total which we've found is pleanty of time to see all we want to see. We are still spending a fortnight in Fiji (soooo exited for that!!) and we've decided to spend the extra 3 weeks in New Zealand as that is suppost to be more backpacker friendly and more importantly cheaper! In America we have left to do Grand Canyon, Vegas, San Francisco and LA/Hollywood so im really looking forward to this next bit of our trip!
