Hey Guys,

Well our 3 night stay in Singapore is all over, and can easily say that it was a hell of a lot warmer there than it is in London!! We arrived to Singapore late arvo on Tuesday the 31st of March. There were no lines at the airport which was great - however it did take us an hour or so to find the way out, as I had the airport map upside down!! Pauls' chief map reader from then on!! The airport was huge!!

First day we were there we did some shopping, got a new camera, which you could haggle the price with the shopkeepers for which was good - they hated it when we walked away though, and would always call you back with a lower price. That night we went on a harbour cruise tour and for a look around the city. Thank god it was dark -couldn't see how yuck the water was!!

The second day we went over to Sentosa island on cable cars, and bused back as part of another tour. The Island is pretty much there for tourists, has theme park rides etc, under water world and other things like that to do.On the bus on the way back to our hotel we decided that we would go to a shopping mall, and the bus driver said he would drop us off. About 2 minutes later we were at the mall, and the bus driver stops in the middle of the motor way (driving over there is crazy!!) and tells us to get off quick. We had to run and jump the barriers without getting hit!!

Was good to have a stopover there - although we were both ready to leave at the end of it. Paul was sick of living on Macca's!! Very clean country, just realy muggy and humid, and smells funky!!
