The bus from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh city took about 6 hours but wasn't too bad. We found a guesthouse fairly near where we were dropped off and it was in the daytime which was a bonus!! We were worried about not liking saigon after hanoi being so crazy but we loved it! It's nothing like hanoi really and we got our bearings quite easily. In the evening we went to the Rex hotel (not inside) which is huge and then to a brilliant place called the underground which is themed around the london underground which is quite funny! The next day we visited the botanical gardens which actually turned out to be a rubbish zoo, there were no exotic flowers or anything insight! The we went to the war remnant museum which was incredible, the photos and things they have there are just awful but it's good to know what actually happened. We also visited the market which was a bit nuts but huge and bought yet more stuff! We really could of spent much longer in Ho Chi Minh (what with gucci and marc jacobs not being far-and on sale!)but we are geting pushed for time and so booked our bus to take us to Cambodia on the 30th June....
