Amazing! After surviving our nice turbulent flight we arrive in San Francisco on the morning of Wednesday 20 May?! We then pick up the Dodge Challenger before driving to Castro Valley. Marilyn is awaiting our arrival and it is so good to see her after six years. We then join Carl for lunch in Buffalo Bills where we both struggle to eat our amazing meals. Marilyn kindly takes us on a tour of Hayward where we see downtown, the fantastic book shop, city hall and some stunning murals. The bookshop is delightful, we could spend all day there, and i get a copy of the Jules Verne novel. We are amazed at the size of the roads and how big Hayward is. We are shattered after having two days in one and kindly Marilyn and Carl cook for us and let us devour their wine collection a little bit.
