MARK: Kim has been up all night sitting on the loo. It doesn't look like flu any longer and looks more like food poisoning. I went out this morning to the local pharmacy and spoke to the doctor there who spoke surprisingly good English and after explaining Kim's symptoms she agreed that it's food poisoning. Doc prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics and electrolyte fluid replacements. Kim has been sleeping all day today, and we'll probably be here for an extra day (but who knows) so that she can recover before we head on again. We both still want to climb Phou Si Hill to see the panoramic views over the city so we'll wait until Kim is well enough. This is the first time we've updated the blog 'live' as normally we're a day or so behind... Must go grab some food for dinner - probably soup for kim as the locals all say rice soup is the only thing you can eat when you have food poisoning.

We'll watch a movie later on our laptop and sleep...
