Hopped on the local bus to Colonia Suzia where we started a very pleasant walk around a circuit meandering around the different lakes. Very beautiful with views of snowcapped mountains, waterfalls, and extremely clear lakes (other than the accumulation of ash in certain spots). Bus back to town, then after a bit of deliberation decided we would brave southern Patagonia, and booked buses, flights etc. Having spent a small fortune, resigned ourselves to cooking pasta in the hostel.
