i've now been in Serbia for a few day i went to the Exit Festival its a non-religious Serbia Festivals. The Exit festival which draws thousands of Serbian youths to participate and enjoy in the musical Gala serves more than just entertainment purpose. The founders of this festival, Novi Sad , Bojan Boskovic and Dusan Kovacevic intended to reach out to the youth along with this festivity certain socio-political issues that required immediate attention such as the NATO interference in Serbia. This festival which has been held since 2000, is celebrated for 4 days. Serbia's national food is Cevapcici. This is cooked with minced meat, which is grilled and seasoned. Many of the comprise of various sorts of meat such as lamb, pork and veal. During religious festivals in Serbia, food is important in terms of the religious rituals.
