Well i havent wrote many of these because im not the type of guy that likes to write diaries.. but i decided to write one about my holiday travels to Bali. This was an eye opening experience for me. I have never been to a 3rd world country. We arrived early monday morning there so we then went and walked around the city and got a taste of the people and shops and the annoyance of people bugging you to buy from them. It was funny b/c the two sweedish girls that i was with, within 3 minutes got sucked into gettin thier nails painted and they didnt know what was going on then they had to pay for it. it really flustered them so they were annoyed the rest of the day. The 2nd day we were there we took an all day tour as you will see in the pictures. We went and saw a balinese dance, wood carving, a housing area that all indonesian people share with their families, paintings, holy temple, volcano with lake at bottom of it, monkey forest. Then the third day we all did different things i went and got a 7 dollar massage then came back and relaxed at pool and in room then we had a dinner cruise at 5. it was good. nothing to spectacular. then we all went out for the last night and it was fun. but next day i woke up with the bali stomach virus. u get it from the water but i didnt drink teh water.. so im thinkin maybe one of the mixed drinks or ice got me sick.. so the last day i had to lay in bed all day. it sucked.. but then that night i got out to shop for all my stuff. got 29 dvds for 1 dollar a piece, and a bunch of gifts for people. then went to dinner with girls before we flew out but couldnt really eat cuz still sick.. it was a good trip i just dont think ill go back its no fun when you cant eat and drink different things without being sketched out.
