2021 on the road still
Last weekend we visted the Currawinya National Park approx 200 kms south of Cunnamulla. The Paroo River runs through the park and at the moment it's waterholes are full of water - this is not always the case as this is semi-arid country which has broken many a farmer's heart. We didn't get to the lakes - Numalla and Wyara - they are on our bucket list. The dominant tree of semi-arid SW Qld is the Mulga. Charleville turkeybush and other Eremophilia species thrive in the sandy soils.
