Derek discovered a long cut to Dubbo via the Banjo Paterson Way. This took us along a route marked by animals on bikes - quite entertaining. We visited the grave of Yuranigh a well known aboriginal from the area near Yeoval who assisted Major Mitchell in his explorations in western NSW. This was our first sighting of carved trees to mark respect for the man by his tribe. See photos in Album an Aboriginal Grave. When we arrived at Yeoval we camped at the back of the pub, The Royal and of course enjoyed a lovely meal there. It was Ruby Final with everyone in the pub supporting Sydeny over Canberra
The next morning we walked through the town taking photos of animals on bikes, an abstract sculpture of Henry Moore and of course exploring the Banjo Paterson museum. See photos in album Yeoval
