Getting up was more than a struggle to say the least. Even with Alex's prompting by throwing water over my head!
My suit fitted perfectly therefore I had hoped to avoid the 8:30 trip to the tailors. But because Amir had somehow said he was a size 36 waste he had to take my trousers, get them adjusted then I had to take his & get them adjusted. Moving & being out in the sun was not my friend today.
George collected us from the tailors to go the wedding rehearsal. I managed some water & a chocolate bar on the way as a breakfast.
The wedding venue itself, is on the way to the airport & has a great view of countryside, from its lofty perch. During the rehearsal I suggested that it maybe better to practice our order or walking up the aisle as there seemed to be confusion when talking about it. Once we had it all sorted we all felt we knew more about what was expected of us.
We all were still tired from the night before & after the rehearsal Shaunack & I were able to grab some sleep. Amir & George however had Chigoli training. Not quite sure how they managed that.
The rehearsing wasn't done for the day though! As we had our entrance dance to practice. Tired, hungover & not a sober dancer, I can't say I was too keen on this. After many run throughs it was finally decided that this was as good as it was going to get! No one had any confidence that I was going to shine as a dancer.
We went back to Don's parents house after the rehearsal but only stayed for food & a drink. We were all still suffering & the DJ setup with loud party tunes didn't quite fit with our mood.
George & Amir went home. While Shaunack & I went to Valeria's for a very peaceful glass of red wine with her & Lotta. We had been hoping Alex could collect us on his way home. As he had to drop his parents off right next to where we were. But Shaunack had somehow texted an Alex who lives in Liberia instead! So we plunged in a taxi instead.
