Hannah's Great Adventure
Ok, so I'm now back in Bangkok after a rather hectic week in Cambodia. The temples of the 'Angkor Wat' were amazing - check out the photos! The History of War Museum (the S-21 Prison) and the killing Field's were equally depressing. But they were both well worth a visit. The country of Cambodia has rather bad infrastructure compared to Thailand - the roads are literally dirt tracts - so getting around is pretty tough! The reason for this is apparently due to the hold the airports have over the government (good roads = fewer people flying), so us poor peasants, who can't afford to fly, get the rough end of the deal! It's so not far!
For the last few days we spent some time relaxing in Sihanock Ville (a seaside town), although we got absolutely eaten alive by mosquito's!
The first night we were there coincided with the monthly 'Full Moon' party!! I had an absolutely incredible night (once again, check the photo's) and ended up dancing on the bar whilst watching the sun rise - Brilliant fun!
Bangkok is starting to feel like home now and I will be very sad to leave! I love the hustle and bustle of the 'Khao Sang Road' area. But I'm getting increasing excited about visiting Australia! We fly to Sydney in 3 days!
Anyway, keep smiling guys!
Miss ya!
