Arrived in Da Lat after aq rubbish bus trip on a tiny bus with our bags crammed in and lots of potholes!!
We met two Canadians in our hotel who we went up the cable car with that afternoon and one of them lived in Hanoi so knew quite a bit about the place. On the way back we decided to walk round the lake which was bigger than we thought at first so it took ages.
Da Lat was really relaxed compared to some cities we'd been to and we all liked it.
The next day we hired mountain bikes and decided to ride 5km to the nearest waterfall. It was all downhill on the way so we weren't looking forward to going back!! AT the waterfalls we got on this luge type ride which you controlled and took you down to the waterfall and back up-it was really cool.
We struggled on our bikes back into Da Lat having to stop a few tiomes and getting some funny looks from people on motorbikes!! We made it back into Da Lat and decided to go to Crazy house-which is what it is!!- this hotel built by this designer and its really weird!! after getting lost and redirected by a policeman we made it there but didnt have the enregy to walk anywhere!!
On our way back the traffic was worse so we had to be really careful but we made it back in one piece!!
We booked on to our bus trip to Nha Trang for the next day.
