Jary's Travelling
Arrived back in Bangkok after a cancelled flight, no signs of any coup thankfully, made it to our hotel unfortunalty not as impressive as the previous ones but very comfortable. Met up with Aaron, (one of the people from the trek to Chaing Mai), quick stop to the night market for a bit of shopping and a drink! After a short circular walk we took a tuk tuk to a brightly lite resturant in what seemed like the missle of no where!. Monday morning was welcomed with a krispy kreame from daddy dough before treking in to the centre for last minute shopping and a drink in the famous guillivors pub where we spent the very first night. We had been reccommended to go to cabbages and condoms, a resturant run by the governement to provide funds to promote contraception to the thai people living in tribal villages, it wasn't the easiest place to find but well worth it. There was no after dinner mints - but instead a condom! It was then time to say goodbye to my sister, we had had such a great time. Went back into the centre for a couple of drinks, before hitting the sack! The morning of the 26th involved packing up my bag and heading to melting moments for a bit to eat before my trip to the airport. Thailand has been such an amazing country and experience, thanks to all the great people that i've met for making it such a nice time.
