HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province: Today was tour day!! We were first taken to a Tiger Sanctuary - there was tigers (obviously...), lions, and even ligers! Which Chris got pretty excited about... to be honest, I thought they were mythical animals before today! We were driven round in a minivan, through fields of all the animals, and then we stopped to watch the tigers get fed. HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province: Had a free day today, didn't really do much... Some people found a pizza place so Sarah and Ed went out and bought a whole load of pizza so we all hung out in Claire's room, nursing hangovers and eating scrummy-yummy JD's pizza!

HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province: More lessons today... We've got a free day tomorrow, so going out tonight! Everyone's meeting at a beer tent on Walking Street (in Harbin City) and then we're going to a club - can't wait!

HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province: Phew, definately feeling the aftermath of all those beers last night... Mandarin lessons are getting much better though, and sitting next to James is really improving my understanding of the characters and the pronunciation... he studied Chinese as part of his degree so he's very helpful! Need to make sure I do my assignment tonight - for the TEFL course we're given a few assignments throughout the month which will get marked... ...

HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province: Still really tired today, but classes were ok. Did peer teaching in the afternoon, which everyone seemed to be stressing about, but it was so easy! It was barely even observed! Hung out with Claire in the evening and got a few beers - was joined later by Philipp, Sarah, Kate, Ed, Gareth and Ali at different times. Ended up just me and Phil chatting about languages for ages!
