HUAIROU, Beijing Province: Got into school at 11am for my 11.15 Tuesday class, only to find out that Emily had forgotten to tell me that my class had been moved forward an hour! Was a bit annoyed - was looking forward to a games lesson! But at least I've got the rest of the day off. Spent the afternoon going for a wander around a new part of Huairou that we haven't explored yet. Found a huuuge outdoor market & were a bit nosy watching some kind of ceremo...

HUAIROU, Beijing Province: Because we've got all week off next week (for Golden Week), I've got classes today, even though Korean school's been cancelled. Had to teach my Monday classes today, and got my Tuesday classes tomorrow. It's quite good actually - since Moon Day, my Monday classes have been a week behind, so this'll get them up to date. Have planned a games lesson with my Tuesday class though coz it'll be an extra lesson with them.

HUAIROU, Beijing Province: Only two classes today, and I get allllll of next week off for a week-long National Holiday! It's called 'Golden Week', and it's the days around October 1st - the National Day of the People's Republic of China. I'm spending the week in Beijing with some of the Shenyangers, and Sarah's off to Xi'an with Casey.

HUAIROU, Beijing Province: Busiest day today, lots of returning test papers, which the students find hilarious because it consists of either me attempting to pronounce all their Chinese names, or them finding out their mates' English names, and considering some have names like God, Bluck, Chicken, Empty, Rainwater, Ice and You, I guess it would be kinda funny. For ages on my names list I thought I had loads of students called 'Nothing' - was a few weeks before ...
