XI'AN, Shaanxi Province:
Arrived in Xi'an in the morning, and made our way to the Bell Tower and to our hotel. Checked in, and then tried to organise our train tickets back to Beijing.
Were told to go to an ICBC bank to get train tickets, and after being told lots of different directions, we finally made it to a teeny weeny window outside one of the banks, where we successfully bought 5 sleeper tickets back!
Explored our hotel rooms for a little bit - I'm sharing with Mum, and it's luxury! The beds are really comfy, it's really clean - we have a TV and a BATH!
In the afternoon we hired bikes and cycled round the city walls. The views were amazing! They were building some models for the Spring Festival celebrations, so that was cool to see.
After cycling Andrew took Mum and Rob to a market he'd gone to when he came to China before, and I went to Starbucks with Dad for a natter.
For dinner we went to this place recommended by Andrew, an all-you-can-eat buffet, way more selection than Big Pizza!
