The other weekend we went to Pamplona and saw the running with the bulls with Kelly and Mitch who are on their European van tour. Since we've been in London we have done some sightseeing to fill in the time. Before we went on the Contiki tour we went down the River Thames and walked along Queens Walkway and across the Tower Bridge and towards the Tower of London, which over the years has been a fortress, a royal palace, and a prison and is home to the crown jewels (the Royal Family's). Last early morning start and travelling day today. Said goodbye to those that were leaving from Amsterdam before a 5 hour drive through Belgium (didn't stop here) to catch the ferry in France. Just missed the ferry so had to wait an hour for next one! After getting back onto British soil said goodbye to the rest of the tour at the Hotel before heading home to sleep

Had a bit of a sleep in before heading into the city for a paddle on the canals in a 4 person paddle boat. Was meant to take us about 45 - 60 minutes but we got lost (poorly signposted) so took us about 2 hours on the scenic route also having a near run with a tour boat on the main canal. After about a 3 hour drive arrived in the Netherlands has been raining all the way so far - very flat country with paddocks of cows everywhere, and also energy windmills.
