Where are Millie and Helen today then?
Arrived in Byron Bay on Tuesday but more about that in a min.
Have to say that we actualy did some excersise on monday in the form of hiring bikes and cycling for miles to the beaches at coffs harbour and then around this huge creek which was really nice until Millie saw a snake! It made us cycle faster the rest of the way thats for sure!
So arrived in Byron Bay and its a strange place I think we've only just got used to it. It has an unusual mix of people, with backpackers, hippies and the rich all seeming to mix together with no problems.
Yesterday we went on a tour to nimbin and its surrounding rainforest. I've never seen so many trees! It was gorgeous. The tour was an alternative tour giving an insight to the alternative (hippy) lifestyle, it was very interesting and certainly an experience! We went to see a hippie called Paul, who lived in the middle of the rainforest and replanted all these tropical plants on his land. On the way back we went to Minyon Falls and some more stunning views!
Had a yoga lesson today which was my first and very relaxing! Then we walked up to the lighthouse and australias eastern most point and saw some more amazing views, again with beaches as far as you could see and the mountains in the background.
Leave tommorow for surfers paradise, then Brisbane so we'll be in touch x
