Today we spent visiting markets and malls. The central market was great. Lots of Malaysian crafts etc plus I got to have a fish foot spa where the little fishes munch all the dead skin off your feet which is ticklish but relaxing. It cost me less than $2 oz for 10 mins and was fun. After that we walked to the Chinatown area and haggled for knock off sunnies, perfumes etc. After lots of walking and shopping we headed back to the hotel and had some drinks in the Monkey Bar at the hotel. In the evening we headed out to the KLCC towers which are stunning when all lit up. After that we hung in a little bar and listened to a lot of 90's music. People are friendly and helpful if a little in your face to keep buying stuff. Walking around the city is cool as there's a mix of traditional buildings with more recent ones being in worse repair. The trains are super clean and aircon'd and the whole days travel came to about $2 oz for both of us. They seem to have more kfc's than we do and a 7eleven slurpee went down well in the extreme humidity! Q got described as being 'like king kong' when buying tshirts ;) I didn't even attempt for myself although the cheap shoes are a constant temptation!
