India.   We arrived in mumbai at about 12.30 am at the international terminal our connecting flight for Goa was at 6.30am. thought we would stay in the airport for a few hours, what we did not know is that the domestic terminal is not the same airport. The domestic terminal is 7km away, and does not open till 4am. We went outside the terminal and a man with airport ID and list of timetables told us that he worked for the airlines and that the airlines layed on free transport he took us to a local hotel (Lying little f***** ) had to pay £25 to stay in a s*** hole for 4 hours in Mumbai. He did want £35 to start off with! In case your wandering why we just didn`t get a taxi back to the airport, india at night is not aplace you want to go about at night looking for a cab. I`m really pissed off with myself for putting Patsyann in what could have been a dangerous situation. This will not ever happen again and if I ever get hold of that little F*****  I will break his F***** bones. (seriously)Anyway we did get to domestic terminal and got our flight to Goa. On arrival in Goa  I phoned  the place we were going to stay, and they said they could pick us up  in about 1hour we had to wait outside the airport as in india they close the airport in  the day if there are no flights due in. 1and half hours later our lift arrived. We are now in a appartment in a place called Calangut. When people tell you to expect, basic, when you come to India you will still not be prepaired for what you see. The bathroom is awful don?t really want to use it but its that or smell like the locals.As we are in monsoon season its like a ghost town, the roads have no drainage most of the bars and hotels are closed till october so not much to do as the weather is terrible, its humid but its lashing down all the time and we keep getting power cuts and they don?t have much street lighting anway. We went out the other night for something to eat during one of the power cuts and Patsyann fell down a 3ft ditch into rain water and god knows what else! Had to walk back soaked in the darkness and take a cold shower and change all in complete blackness. Yesterday we found new accomodation near the beach, it?s a studio and a lot cleaner than the place we are in, we move in on wed 20th which is great because after we booked it we found a bar showing the utd v arsenel game and food and drinks got back to our place to find 3 huge cockroachs running round the kitchen!Don?t know what annette was on when she came here or maybe we need to give it a chance once the season kicks in but at the moment Goa is nothing more than a stinking s**t hole full of more s**t .I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.      Saying all that we are staying positive and trying to my the best out of a bad situation, as patsyann keeps saying, its one of lifes experiences,and at least we can say we?ve done it, we have to get on with it and even laugh about it. We are here for 5 weeks these poor b******s have to call it home!With any luck in a week or two the weather will improve and we can do some exploring.Don?t worry about us we have a torch for the black outs and a swiss army knife for the dodgy streets which we carry all the time, not that we would need it, Patsyann would just lash out and kill anyone who might try anything and so would i.We are having a good time honest, and we are both sure its gonna get better. Olivia looks as beautiful as ever - hope she enjoyed her first day at school!! And i hope Kevin didn't embarrass her as much as he did me!!! I was deeply traumatised - He drove me right in to the middle of the school playground with his soft top down blasting irish folk music!!! I thought this is it - i am deffinatley getting bullied, i was chubby with big round glasses!! Then he goes n does that!!! Graham - so what!!! You sound like my mam!!! x x x x x x x x x x x x

Olivia's First Day at School.

Can somebody get rid of these two pissheads? All we seem to be doing is getting drunk!! Pats and Nev had the experience of looking after Olivia and Gillan the other night whilst we stayed in a hotel and spa. Think they meybe having another baby now seeing as though they enjoyed it so much!

They leave tomorrow for London, then off to Annette (Goa) on Thu morning. Can't wait to get my liver back to nomal!!

Sorry I didnt say good bye to you guys properly last weekend, had to scoot off back to Leeds! Live fast, Die young and all that... :o)

Dont tell me about sennelager; Ive experienced the carnage at that place first hand! Resulted in hundreds of dead brain cells, naked taxis and a smashed garage door!!

hi yes we are still here and alive! sorry we have not been in touch but we had such a good time at annette and buzz's that we just did't have the time to sign in or put photo,s on. Now we are at kev and kates we thought we ould do catch up but it's just the same! so sorry guys but as soon as we have time i promise we will down load photo's! we have a great one of abbie geting her hair done! Olivia wants to get married but she wants me to be her husband and i have to pretend to be boy..... andy piss off!..( she's only 4 for those of you who don't know my niece) told her i,m a girl why not marry uncle nev? she said no. he smells of poo! wise girl!
well hope you re all ok? we are checking out hostels for india and its looking ok a part from the monsoons!
