Today we drove from Arizona to New Mexico stopping at The White Sands to go sledding! It was an incredible experience! I've never seen anything like it! On our way we hit an intense rain storm and had to pull over but it passed quickly and then we hit blue skies and HoT temperatures for our sledding adventure! New Mexico is gorgeous! Driving through Lincoln National Forest now, the girls are napping, there is a light drizzle coming down and we are surrounded...

We made it!! It was a great first day! Kids and the adults both did well, thank god ;) and check out that Arizona sunset!

The journey has begun! Today my sister Kelly, her husband Andrew, their dog Doris, Erland, Olivia, Magnolia and I all loaded onto the RV for the next month on a cross country road trip. Today we start with an 8 hour drive to our first stop Tuscan, Arizona! It's our first day on the road and we are so excited! Goodbye California, see you next month!! Let the adventure begin...

Pet/ house sitting for friends of ours up in Mission Canyon.. little did we know it would be a retreat! It was a great way to kick off our Summer of LOve. We lounged in their vast, lush garden(s) while the kiddos bounced on the big trampoline and snuggled their adorable and sweet dog and kitties.... glorious!
