Welcome to our travel blog. We've finally decided to make the move back to New Zealand and thought we'd take the long way home, stopping off at different destinations such as Africa, Russia, Mongolia, China, India and South East Asia before stepping foot on home soil.
Our travels start on 9th June when we spend 3 weeks relaxing in Turkey before we start our overland safari from Nairobi to Cape Town and when the fun begins.

Heh there Guy-nene! Just read your Russia blog - sounds like an interesting/stressful time - all adds to the stories to tell! The homestays sound like a great idea to get to know the place and the people a bit better. Looking forward to hearing what you think of Mongolia. Great to be travelling vicariously through you two! Loved catching up on your blogs. I read through the whole Africa lot in one go and had many laughs and smiles. i could picture everything, well almost everything. what an amazing time you are having. you are so lucky to have seen so much of the wildlife, especially the white rhino!
