I hadn't planned to write an entry today as I anticipated a day of wondering around the airport waiting for a flight... I guess that's not far from the truth but never the less read on if you wish as we have had a few entertaining incidents:
1. Up bright and early for our shuttle to the airport and who else should great us but mr no trousers from yesterday!
2. Time to 'drop' our bags with easy jet. Que up and follow the train through those fiddly little railings to find out that after all of that "the flight is not open yet". Luckily they took pitty on us poor girls with our heavy bags and allowed us to check in anyway!
3. Feeling a lot lighter after dropping off our backpacks we went in search of food... Frankie and Benny were pleased to oblige.
The rest of the day consisting of waiting... Lots and lots of waiting... And even more waiting when our flight got delayed.
It's ok though because me being the nosey girl I am, found it quite amusing to watch the clearly not so with it women light up a cigerette in the airport and then try to, slurringly, talk her way out of the the repercussions... Safe to say she never made it onto the flight.
Arriving in morocco was a breeze, collect bags, find shuttle and meet some of our house mates for the week. We met Steve and Alexa on our shuttle then got to know the rest of the house mates over the most amazing evening meal!
I have to say however... Driving through morocco even as a passenger... One of the scariest things EVER, between the road rage, suicidal pedestrians and kamikaze junctions it's a wonder we made to to the villa in one piece! On top of that, I am so glad I was warned about the sketchy area that must be driven through just before reaching Villa Mandella as had I not known.... I'd of been pretty sure we were about to become some evil psychos next victims, the naive travellers that misplaced their trust in the cheerful driver. Good but over done plot for a horror movie! Psychos and joking aside, the Villa is beautiful and I can't wait to explore more of it tomorrow!
Something tells me I am going to like it here... I am currently sat in bed, in a room overlooking the pool and beach ( I assume it's the beach... I hear waves... It's too dark to see).
I shall love you and leave you all for now as I need to get some s*** eye before my first morning yoga session at 7.30 before a morning of surfing (flopping about in the sea with a board).
A la perchoine! Xxx
