Hey everyone its been a while, Jonno and I had a twelve hour train journey 6 days ago from Hanoi to Hoi an. In Hoi an we have stayed in a lush hotel for a couple of nights which had a swimming pool and everything it was seriously nice but unfortunately was costing us $40 a night, bit expensive so we moved to a budget hotel which is $10 a night but nearly as nice. Hoi An is a really chilled out relaxed beach town in central vietnam and so differnet to the hecticness which was Hanoi. In Hoi An we've chilled on the beach, Jon turned into a lobster after a while haha. We visited the old town of Hoi An which was the most beautiful place weve seen yet with architecture and influences from french japanese and chinese and it is a really cool area. A couple of days we got ourselves some tailor made clothes done as that is what Hoi An is actually famous for. Jon got 2 suits made one pin stripe and one as he calls a Jim Morrison suit, one of those indian ones with funny collar, and 2 shirts and i got 2 pairs of linen trousers, linen shirt(which i got blood on from a nose bleed once again) and a jacket made. The clothes are amazingly done and are so cheap mine came to $98 its mad. Last night we met a cool american guy in a bar called treats cafe, we played pool with him for a while and then when the bar shut at 11 which all of them do, we got mo-peds to this dodgy days place called the Full Moon bar. It was seriously dodgy days in there, the locals had told us not to venture there as apparently it was full of drugs and trouble. It was not really a bar either, it was 2 rooms in like a barn, with writting scribbled all over the walls, fairy lights on the ceiling, a bar in the corner and a pool table with the only light in there above it, looked like something out of a horror film but played seriously good music, beatles, rolling stone, rhcp, hendrix, was really good and no trouble at all, just loads of young travellers like ourselves there having a good time. We met quite a few people in there as well, couple of girls from kent, couple of guys from london and some canadian kid who told Jon mooses were 12ft high, spinny.Hope alls well in England , George xx Oh yeah we wrote on the wall as well "Jon and George Dodgy days full moon bar....
