Yo geezers and geezettes... hope you are all well? The message board seems a bit quiet....
Just to let you know that the Jock and I have booked trips to the Great Barrier Ref and a trek thing through the rainforest. So, if you guys are wanting to do a sky-dive or whatever, no worries. I reckon you guys will want to come to Cairns too, so you could do a bungee/skydive here or we can all do something together in Sydney. Also, we looked into vans for New Zealand (although I'm not sure what is happening there yet), and there are some really good deals for the North Island. We can get two 4-person vans for about ten quid a day each, and they have showers and cooking equipment too. We can look into that stuff when we see you. Let me know whatcha up to. Hope you are all safe etc..

Lucy - Poor Alex, he has had to put up with some s***e hasn't he poor thing? I hope he will make a speedy recovery.
Anyway, take care all of you and I'm looking forward to seeing some of those you know, that word that begins with "p" has four letters in the middle and ends in "s" - I wont say PHOTOS in case I get shouted at!!

Cairns Greek
Easy guys. Just arrived in Cairns, which is cool although it reminds me a bit of the Kho San Road for Aussies. We got totally ripped off by some obnoxious Aussies who charged us 5o dollars for looking at a room we didn't like, although we are going back tomorrow to shout at the manager. Tossers. But we are now in a cool hostel and we are here for 5 days.
Couple of questions for Faye, Mike, Adele, Nick and Laura... are you guys up for doing a skydive? If you are, then I would love to do it with you, but let me know, as they are cheap out here and I will go without you if you are not up for it. If not, we can do it in Sydney if everyone is up for it and have enough money etc. How is the Phillipines? Sydney was still cold when we left but should be better by next week, and even Cairns has some rain. We are planning on going to the Reef maybe, doing some dives or summit, but I'll wait for you guys to get back to me so we can plan our budgets and all that s***e.
Hope all the bloggers out there are fine and dandy. I'm off to beg for some money from the Cairns tramps. Maybe then I can get that bit of 2 dollar pizza I was after earlier.
Peace out homies...
Oh, but (for Dad mostly) first a joke....
A radio phone in is doing "Cliff Richard" day for the whole day to pay homage to the great man's work. After a few hours of playing Summer Holiday and some other tunes, a Chinese man phones in. (Guys, this may be construed as slightly racist, so turn away now if you are easily offended). He asks the DJ for the Cliff Richard song about venereal diseases. The DJ says he doesn't know which song he means, and asks for clarity. You know, says the Chinese listener, the one about venereal disease. The DJ is still perplexed, so asks the listener to sing a line from the song.... (in your best Chinese accent now guys...)
"Ok mister, here goes..... Itchy-fanny, how we don't talk anymore...!"
Sorry. Seriously, sorry.
Peace out XXXX

Hi Laura,Nick.Mike & Adele, sorry this message is so long coming but internet went down. But as you can see we are back from beautiful Thailand and had a fantastic time.It was great meeting up with you guys and what a way to meet, still can't believe it!All 4 of us really enjoyed your company and thank you for introducing us to the sangsum bucket.you lot are such a bad influence though getting us drunk! It was great seeing you and being apart of your travels even if it was for a short while, thank you.
Mike,Pete S remembered 'the face'and hard bartering and got us some good deals, you would have been proud of him.Someone asked about Mike's 'face',it's when you are given a price for something and it's too high, you have to pull the face, look disappointed and walk away-guarenteed to get you a bargain.
Hi Dina hope you are ok.Thank you, we did have a great holiday but as always it went so quick.Nick was good, looking fit and tanned. We are very grateful to him for looking after Laura, sure it must be hard at times(only joking Laura).Thank you to him and everyone for making Laura's b'day special.
Hi to Adele's Mum,I promised her I would send you a message to tell you she is fine and having fun, although she is missing Steve. She is a lovely girl, you must be very proud of her.Sadly we didn't get to meet Faye,Matt or Sharon but hopefully one day.Sharon you are more than welcome to celebrate your b'day here!
Also to Mike's family, what a lovely guy he is.He made us feel very welcome.Had read about Mike being tanned but you wouldn't believe it he is really black. He and Nick tried to explain who you all were but got abit confused but it'slovely reading all your messages.
Well I must finish now, been rambling for too long but please be careful in the Phillipines it sounds scarey.I'll be happy when you move on.I'm just like Auntie Mary,I worry too.Looking forward to seeing the photos Nick, hopefully you'll be able to get them on soon.Wherever you all are take care and look after each other.
Laura I'll send you an e.mail with all our news.Missing you loads, love you lots and keep safe.xxxxxxxx
Hopefully Helpful Greek
Guys, if you don't pick up your email and haven't booked anywhere, try this address
Dina - Matt meant to say the 24th of July. Not June. July. He does know this already ( but he is getting old).
Oh and another thing. Big thank you to Paul and Jane if they are reading this, or even if they are not. xxx
Aussie Shazza
First of all.....in reverse chronological order.....
Auntie Mary - I know I don't know you but felt it necessary to comment on your humour re Lucys house. That message tickled me not literally, that would be weird. But it made me laugh a lot. Well done for that.
Lucy (or possibly Dina next, who knows) - Glad to hear Alex is out of hospital and managing to keep his strength up (3 fried eggs ain't too bad). Say a little cheerio to your house from me. My mum is in the New Royal Infirmary, will send you a wee e-mail with the info.....although I am not really that sure who would WANT to steal her at the moment!!! Am sure she would love it.
Dina - 10 points for getting out of bed before 9am on a Sunday. An additional 20 points for being a highly constructive person before that time on a Sunday. Well done. Cooking your house must have taken a long time!!! Chuckle chuckle!! My birthday is not until the 24th of July so you have not missed it. You can start writing Happy Birthday etc manytime after the 20th for up to a week...I like Lauras way of thinking. In fact I may ask the Deans if I can celebrate my birthday at their house next year.......oh and another thing I am wearing SLEEVES AND JUMPERS just now!!! Hope you don't fall off the seat in surprise. x
The other doulous - thanks for messages we all like 'em a lot.
Nick, Laura, Mike, Faye and Adele - hope you are having a lovely time. It does sound a tad scary and I hope that you make it here safe and sound. If that is a tad ambitious then....I hope that you make it here with limbs intact. A little word of advice....It is very chilly in Oz at the moment so if there are cheap clothes available I would perhaps buy a jumper or two. Mike I am sorry to tell you this but you will not be black for too much longer. I hope you are not too sad at this news. We can work through it have no fear....
Mummy Moon - dunno when you'll next check this or if some of your minions are doing it for you....love to you. You been out jogging in your heels today???
Ciao for the mo and speak to you soon, see some of you soon, meet others later and well you know I am going now!! xxxxx
Sydney Greek
Yo peeps... first of all, Sydney is in New South Wales and not Australian Capital Territory... I have cut my hand off for this awful mistake and it won't happen again.
Been a few eventful days in Sydney. The rain is pouring down and even the residents of Sydney are finding it all a bit strange. It has been 6 years since the drought started and now they have had two weeks of solid s***e. Bit selfish to make them all run out of water just for our visit, but it gets kinda annoying. We have been enjoying getting to know Paul and Jane and some of their mates here in Sydney, and Jane is ace in the kitchen too, so that is a mega bonus. She cooked some Iranian food yesterday and my stomach now hurts through being so full. I bought a memory card reader for the pictures yesterday, but some twatty Aussie sold me the wrong one, so no pics yet. I'll wait till I get to Cairns and see what I can do. COME ON OTHER SAMURAI, get some of the Phillip Penis on there too!
We leave for Cairns tomorrow and I'm sure there will be internet cafes there too.
Anyway, in order--
Dad- Happy Fathers Day for yesterday. I assume that saying that one week early and one day late is alright?!
Dino and Doctor- same to you... photos are coming Dino, now calm down or I'm gonna send the US government round there to string you up.
Lucy- not sure if I will get to say goodbye to the house or not, but it knows I care from over here. Keep that DS going, it will help in the long run. The only reason the lads bought it is so they can delay the time it will take to pay for a care-home. Hope you had a good day anyway! Where are you moving to?
Alex- keep it cool, all will be fine. Lots of people get over arm cancer, and you are actually physically fit, which may help in the long run too. Hope all is well, I'm bringing you back some hardcore Thai Tiger-Balm for your wounds. Oh yeah, take advantage of the drugs too, they are not always this readily available.
Mum- Shazza's Bday is on the 24th of June, and I'm glad you are gloating about the hot weather in England. Revel in it, coz it'll be s*** there soon too. Cheers for the call, give my love to Pappas too.
Mary and Doctor- May come out and see you in Cyprus soon, but I can't be there when it is that sweaty. Oh yeah, and Doc, you are more than welcome out here. With your silver hair, obsession with Star Trek and massive face, you can take the place of Mike as the brunt of all the practical jokes. Mike will like this very much.
Love you all, keep it spastic, and pics and blogs to come soon.
Nick, Feck, Laura, Adele and Mich- hope you are happy and well, and I will try to email you some places to stay when you get here. It gets really late on that flight, and Sydney gets quiet really quickly when the weather is a bit rubbish. I'll email soon. Love you all, miss you.

Dear Auntie Lucy,
first off, Happy Birthday, its not late, just in time for next year!
Mainly, I didn't realise that poor Alex was that unwell. Hope he doesn't suffer too much.
I'll say Hello and Goodbye to your house now, just incase it moves before I get round to seeing it. Also, as I probably won't be around in 2050....................HELLO LUCY! I will leave the key to the flat under the mat for you.
