Leaving Hanoi tomorrow morning bright and early for Halong Bay. We will be out on the water cruising in a junk overnight visiting limestone caves, snorkelling and kayaking. Can't wait.

We were out and about today doing some shopping and went for a walk to Hoan Kiem lake which isn't too far from where we are staying. It's like an oasis in the middle of complete chaos! We went to the water puppet theatre tonight which was good before heading off to dinner and to have a couple of Tiger beers to say goodbye to Hani and the Old Quarter.

Hanoi has been great but very full on and hot! The traffic is mad but I think we have pretty much got crossing the road sorted (just!) Will be great to see the ocean and get out of the crowds.

We cruise the bay and then come back to Hanoi on Thursday afternoon briefly before flying out to Danang where we staythe night before heading down to Hoi An.
