Today got up and went to Denny's ( american diner chain) for breakkie! Walked down to the mirage and booked tickets for the Beatles Love Cirque de soleil. Got 40% off so that was a bonus! Think as it was Monday it must not have been busy! Then took a stroll back up the hotel went into m and m shop, coca cola and adidas. Then we decided to get the bus to the fremont st experience. Fiona (graemes mum) had told us to go as there was like a street and was covered and had light show above so we were looking forward to seeing that. Hmm didn't quite turn out that way! We got off the bus and turned to freemont street, wondering why no one else got off the bus and it was deserted but the lights weren't on cos it was 2pm in the afternoon! Silly us hadn't looked into it properly and didn't realise the lights didn't come on until after 6pm - and after thinking about it Fiona had told us to go at night! ok i had read something about it that said the lights were on from dusk and I thot dusk was early in the morning so i thot the lights were on allday doooh! Ah well we had a laugh anyway and got bus out to the shopping outlets. They were ok but not as cheap as we had hoped! Walking around was so warm but they have sprinklers above your head to cool down so that was good. Bus back to the strip and headed to the mirage for Love. It was the most amazing thing we have ever seen, totally worth going to! Was the Beatles music and kinda went through the story of their lives and different things that happened. But it was like dancing, trampolining ( hmm is that a word?), roller-skates, people hanging from the ceiling, it's hard to describe but totally worth going to - oh and we got our seats upgraded so even better! When finished went and watch bellagio fountains again then back to our hotel and to the rainforst cafe for dinner! X
