Day 60 Tues 24th May Fraser Island Day 2 Up at 6.30 am for 190km round trip up 75 mile beach and back. Swam in Champagne pools on the rocks by the sea, climbed Indain Head cliffs and saw 4 sharks, a school of dolphins and a sting ray swimming in the sea below, now we knew they weren't joking about the sharks!!! Day 59 Monday 22nd May, up at 6.15 foir early ferry ride to Fraser Island for the start of our ranger guided 4WD tour of the 123km x 20km Island, staying at Winderness lodge. Fraser is a \n island completely made of sand with the largest fresh waters reserves in the world, soemthing like 10 x Sydney harbours.
