Oliver's travels

I found a little piece of home today in a place that is such a contrast it may as well be on the moon... Or at least on a different continent!

This little bar I'm sitiing in now is a gem amongst the dirt of the most filth infested place of my travels.

Oliver's travels... A place I love, located in a city I hate, which is the capital of a country I've fallen for in less than 48 hours of visiting.  Bolivia is weird like this and I will never forget what it's like here, or take for granted what we have at home after seeing it (well for at least a few weeks anyway).

But my little bar with good tunes from home, cheap beer from La Paz (which is litterally worth less than bottle in which it is served) has made me a little home sick for the first time since leaving the monotony of St. Albans.

Home.... An ineresting concept as I have no fixed abode any more... Grace insists my home is on here shoulder; very sweet I know!

Anyway I'm missing you all at home and wishing I had my family and mates with me in this lovely homely British owned pub to share a curry "straight from birmingham" and beer from the brewery 2 streets away.
