Hello one and all! First let me apologise for I fear my photos did not work when I tried to upload them. THe battery went on my camera as I was doing it, and now only weird thumbnails appear! Very annoying!

Fiji has been great! We have visted around 7 islands in all, all with great beaches and lovely water! some of the accomodation was a bit dodgy- one bure (room/hut) hanging off the side of a small cliff into the sea, another which very much resembled a prison cell; but the days have been excellent. I wish I could show you the pics! On our first day on our first island, we decided to try out snorkelling which neither of us had ever done before. And what better way to begin than by snorkelling with sharks!!! Oh yes!! They were reef sharks, mind you- but sounds pretty impressive when u tell people! they were just over a metre long, and very calm creatures!

Have been snorkelling a few times, have seen some huge coral, some very cool blue starfish which look like huge cushions from Ikea, and have found Nemo!! lol

We also did a village trip where we visited a fijian school where all the children sang us songs and were very smiley! (again, pics to come!)

A lot of time has been spent chilling in a hammock as the heat has been unbearable at times! It doesn't get much cooler at night either! I'm not sure how hot, but over 30!!

They make you do traditional Fijian dances most nights- just to get u all hot and sticky before bed. I am now a pro at the Bula dance- so much so they made me stand on a bench to demonstrate to everyone else how to do it!!

Time is ticking away, and I'm sure there is much more to say! Off to New Zealand in the morning, and there will be much more internet there I'm sure so keep in touch!! xxx
