Gordon's piece isn't there (Helen's message) ... well where is it then? Has he lost it!
Went to Wembley for playoff final yesterday ... got drenched and my team (Rochdale) lost. Still HM had a good laugh. Oh, and England won at cricket ... because it wasn't raining in Lancashire!
Helen
Well what would you know - Bank Holiday Monday and we've had six inches of rain. Sunny up North though - shocker!!!! The weather man says it's nothing to do with Global Warming it's just the British weather… right, fine, bet the sun shines tomorrow when we're all at work, but just like the Murphys, I'm not bitter!

Alison And Micky
Dear both, it's wonderful to read all of your news and see your photos. Hope you are now settled into your new home - it doesn't look quite as plush as your one in Winchester!
Micky says he's pleased to see that Gordon's keeping up the good work with wearing hats too. He's just got a new panama and downgraded and old favourite to gardening and BBQ duties xx
Helen
forgot to say, it's bank holiday this weekend so we're due heavy rain - now there's a surprise!
Helen
I have a Didi - although I wouldn't dare call her that to her face!! She's fab and the house is lovely when we get home on a Wednesday. Get used to it M, it's fab. Barry was resistant at first but now he's happy he doesn't have to do it.
Alison
Hey - I want a Didi also! Life sounds pretty good now that you've got your apartment - just hope M's job works out as well. G seems pretty well set up in his civil servant job!
Helen
Gordon's piece isn't there :(
Must say though the Nepali hats suit him well!
All good here - the sun is shining and it's hot hot hot!! Not mixing toowell with the ol' hot flushes though but hey better than rain every day ;)
Jen
Hi to you both - just updated myself with your blog and photos - oh my word - think thats all I can say!!!!!! You look well Miranda but cant quite say that about you Gordon - have your ears grown or has your face shrunk? Not read about your week in the village Gordon - have you typed your script yet? All sounds very interesting. Hope you are both ok and I am always thinking about you both. Take care love jen x
Megan

Hello you legal emigrants. Queen? Never heard of them. Chris de Burgh yes. Would you like to receive email copies of our Newsletter? Also the CD of Hazza and I performing aurally on the steam radio, oh that's on the web site soon, hopefully.
Helen
You're cultural observations regarding Queen are just so true, Barry has even been known to strip off his shirt when Bohemian Rapsody comes on the stereo, and he's been training James up so I can't wait for the next family party, my parents will be so proud!
Janet
Hi you two. Have really enjoyed reading the blog you seem to be settling in really well. We had snow here last week which was interesting and of course the whole country ground to a halt.
Am settled into new job and loving it but do have my moments when I miss Lilly (not VOE)! but they pass very quickly and anyhow there are alot of Lilly people now working at Shire. Keep up the good work!! Janet
