We went on a tour of the Doge (duke of Venice) palace today, pretty specky huge murals on the ceilings and walls and decorated with real gold. Did an extra tour of the hidden staircases (for middle class workers) plus prison cells where Casanova was held.
We have also discovered Venetian bakeries, so many yummy things.....
