Well, two days to go and things are starting to get hectic and exciting. The packing is coming along, and besides a trip to Target and the bank I am all set. I've reversed me sleep schedule to prevent any jet lag on Thursday (with the help of caffeine and sleeping pills), so it's 10:45pm and I'll probably go to bed around 4am. There is one glitch which will hopefully be fixed - my visa (which I went through a very expensive agency to get quickly & sans red tape) is floating somewhere in between their office and UPS, and was supposed to be delivered on the 10th. Nice. We are working to get it figured out and hopefully it will be in my hands before the plane leaves- or I will probably not be on it. The other thing looming is the threat of snow- apparently, with NC being a place that rarely snows EVER, along with the current drought and heat wave of a year, Mother Nature decided Thursday would be an awesome day to have some snow and/or ice. We'll just keep our fingers crossed that the first situation comes through, and the latter does not! I'll post again before I leave. :)
