This is the moat around Este castle. Very nice but a flying visit so didn't see much.

Pitt stop at Ferrara. Known as city of bikes. So many people on bikes, very impressed by all the old ladies (60+) riding bikes. . Had a nice latte macchiato , and the got lost in a building trying to find a loo. Didn't find one

Our boat to take us off Venice and back to the bus. It was fascinating watching the boats being loaded with everything from building materials, paint, food, drinks but well how else do they get it there?

This is the train station opposite our hotel, so Lauren didn't have far to go to meet up with us. This was taken the morning we were leaving. I guess it was about 8.00 and like any city there was so much traffic but in this case all boats. It's amazing to watch the boats manoeuvre around each other, and its usually at full speed. There is no going slow in Italy whether its on land or sea!

This was just outside our hotel, no we didn't take a ride . Just too much to do in too short a time. Could easily stay a couple of days more.
