Decided I had to paddle in the Côte d'Azure, part of the French Riviera.
The beach is made up of pebbles, we thought couldn't be that bad.
OH YES IT WAS!!!
OMG we went as close to the water as possible in thongs then hobbled along to the water. The pebbles had been banked quite steeply due to the water pushing them. This meant there was a huge drop to the water. You kind of slid down to the water, which was quite pleasant. The look on my face was because the pebbles were killing
my feet.
Then had the difficult task of getting up the embankment. Luckily I wasn't videoed. Douglas got up first then half pulled half dragged me up, what a sight but worth it!!!!!
