I'm writing this from what is apparently the 'world's best airport dining experience' (so far it is fulfilling all my expectations) in the sort of state of disorientation you'd expect from a first-time long-haul flyer. To be more specific, one who finds herself in Hong Kong airport, partially deaf from deficient eardrums which really don't like air pressure too much, feeling very strongly that it should be this morning, and seriously wondering whether she did in fact spend the last thing that looked like a morning eating carrot muffins on Deptford High Street. I did actually manage a fair bit of sleep on the plane, which you'd think would go some way to redressing the balance; however, this has in fact had the slightly perturbing effect of making me half believe I've just got off the Megabus to discover that Leeds bus station have really upped their culinary game.
Important lesson of the day: one may go to the cultural and geographical opposite end of the globe, but do not imagine that this will present any manner of obstacle to the diligent text-marketeers at PPI Claimback.
Right, I'm going to go and stare at the actual mountains for a little bit now. Everything in here is so shiny and advertised by Nicole Kidman that I keep forgetting I am in fact in China and there are really cool things just out of the window! Miss you all lots already, massive thanks to Dave and Kat for my airport send-off yesterday and speak to you all soon!

Chris Radford Love the writing style, keep it coming. I feel like I am there when I read it. Your meal looks better than our Ham and potatoes
Yuranti Shona So much arresting in this blog entry - not least the name of the airport which seems to be some kind of mildly perverted instruction. Good luck with the final leg!
