Voila we're in Saskatoon, we left Winnipeg at noon yesterday and arrived at the Hotel Senator in downtown Saskatoon near midnight. By the way it was snowing between Winnipeg and Saskatoon, kinda like the weather back home (just kidding), oh and they do have mountains in Saskatchewan, mountains of POTASH, the new oil... We had a decent sleep last night dispite the noise from the rather popular pub down below. Okay we need breakfast so check the web, nice, there's a very popular place called Poached just around the corner, can you say Maple Bacon Rollups, picture this a slice of maple smoked bacon covered in crushed pecans rolled up and dripping in maple syrup, OUCH is that ever good. Okay I know it seems like I talk alot about food but hey we love it. Well we have earned a good walk after that foodie extravaganza so we head to the river and on to the Mendal Art Gallery, best thing here was the school childrens art. It's a beautiful day so we enjoy the stroll along the river. Oh dear look hun its another old CP hotel, the Delta Bessborough, well will just have to go in for a Kir Royal, the lobby bar here doesn't come close to the one at the Fort Garry in Winnipeg anyway we order some natcho's and what goes well with natcho's well a Kir Royal of course. We head back to the hotel to relax have dinner in the popular pub below our room, give our table to some young pilots one of which flies into Uranium City where Tina grew up, small world huh.....
