Took a coach at 9am until 430pm to get from Rotorua to Wellington where we are staying the night to catch a flight to Queenstown tomorrow.

We got the bus to a nearby town Taupo to do a skydive! We jumped from 12000ft. We freefalled for 45 seconds before opening the parachute and it was amazing!!!!! The view from floating in the air was incredible although it was over so quickly. I can't wait to show everyone the DVD!!!

Today we went to the lakes and saw a geiser erupt! These varied in colour due to the minerals in the ground. They were all extremely hot with the water approximately 100 degrees celsius causing a lot of steam. On route, our taxi driver had taken a slight diversion to show us a mud pool which was bubbling. After the hour walk around the lakes, we went to the Luge where you get on a gondola to the top of the mountain (great view) and then take a sort of go cart ...

Woke up at 7 to catch a bus from Auckland to Rotorua which arrived midday. After checking into our really basic hotel we went to the Polynesian Spa. There were 5 different pools starting at 36 degrees with the hottest at 42. They were very relaxing shallow rock pool 'baths' with a great view over Rotorua. In the evening we attended a Maori village experience where the Maori tribe explained and showed their traditions, preformed songs and provided a buffet dinner...

Last night went up two volcanoes - Mount Victoria and Mount Eden which gave me two different views/angles of Auckland City at Night. First day in Auckland started with us going to the Thermal heated pools with the 42 degrees pool where i spent most of my time but i did get out to go on a cold water slide!
