Today met Anna at Bondi Junction and she took me to her favourite restaurant by her apartment. Then we went to Bondi Beach to meet some of her friends for drinks. After this, we went into the city to this really cool shop called 'Culture Kings' and I bought a really cool hat. From here we walked to Darling Harbour to watch the water and laser show called Vivid (a yearly light show). We also ate dinner on the habour and then saw some amazing fireworks! We decided to walk to Circular Quay and on route there were more vivid art pieces. The harbour bridge was lit up multicoloured and the Sydney Opera house had a constant rotation of patterns lasered on to it! A few buildings also had lasers on to them which created really interesting images. From Circular Quay we finished the busy day by going to a house party! I was able to take the train home comfortably knowing that Sydney is a particularly safe city.
