Woke up late again....we are turning into bats! We had a sign on our door which basically said if you don't come out of your room during the daylight hours tomorrow we are coming in anyway to clean the room! We promised Sean dinner at the Hard Rock so we caught our first Taxi ever in Japan and headed in there. Really cool place as you can imagine lots of memorabilia on the walls most noteably a full Gene Simmons costume and bass. A friend of ours Ryoko works around the corner so she joined us after work. She lived on the Gold Coast for a while and speaks really good English with a slight Aussie twang. Really cool chick and if you ever find yourself in Osaka with a stiff neck I can recommend her services. We were a bit early for Mystery Trip so we went to Bar Soiree to see Kosuke. Ryoko had never heard of it but is now a fan. Couple of drinks later it was time to hit Mystery Trip, it was almost full when we got there ie. 10 people, but we managed to find a little corner. We were there for about a half hour and Makoto arrived. We had a few beers and a group of 3 Aussies stumbled upon our little haven. We got talking to them and turns out one of the guys, Danny is the drummer from a band called The Drums (which I guess makes him the most important member?) I had never heard of them but Sean was frothing. He was also in a band called Youth Group, which again I had never heard of, but I did know there big hit Forever Young. Really nice guy now living the dream in New York. He is a big soccer fan and knew his stuff, actually used to go to Northern Spirit matches. A short time later another rag tag bunch of Aussies who had hooked up while travelling that day came in, we got talking to them and they were all keen for Karaoke. We were going to have an early night but.......Anyway after a few wrong turns we took them to our Fav place the Onion. We had one drink and one song and left them to it. So not too late a night?
