We left Hong Kong and arrived in Bangkok a few hours later. We were only staying one night so decided to head to backpacker central - Khao San Road. We found the cheapest room we could - cold shower, poor lighting, paint peling off the wall and as han closed the door of the bathroom the large vent at the bottom fell out! But the bedding seemed clean and the fan worked so we headed out for our first night in Thailand. I felt so excited! Loads of tanned backpackers...
